Two of Sri Lanka’s most spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Sites in a single unforgettable day. The morning begins with the dramatic climb of Sigiriya – the 5th-century rock fortress rising 200 metres above the surrounding plains. The afternoon is devoted to Dambulla Cave Temple, where five interconnected rock cave sanctuaries shelter over 150 ancient Buddha statues and thousands of square feet of exquisite murals spanning more than two millennia of Buddhist artistic tradition.
